*Custom Winchester Model 70 bolt action rifle, .300 Winchester Magnum cal., serial #5670. The rifle is in overall very good condition with a 24” blued barrel. The rifle has been completely customized with the front sight ground down and rear sight removed. The barrel and receiver retain the majority of a quality period re-finish. The pre-war action was manufactured in 1937 according to the serial number and re-chambered for .300 Win Mag during the period of use. The nicely figured wood stock including a roll over cheek piece and oversized pistol grip shows mars and compressions consistent with field use. Additionally, the stock shows an old repair at the pistol grip, sling swivels, period leather sling and a rubber ventilated butt pad. The bore is very good, action and markings sharp on this custom Model 70. The rifle is topped with a one piece Redfield mount and a Leupold Vari-X II variable power 3x9x40 scope, with crisp clear optics. Est.: $600-$1,200.

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
