Custom Roger & Spencer Percussion Target Revolver
The revolver is equipped with a dovetail target style front sight and a fixed rear sight screwed to the top strap. It has a Whitney-style 3 piece rammer with latch and a Whitney-style hammer locking screw. The 6-shot cylinder is fluted with deep flared nipple recesses and Remington-style star wheel at the rear. It has a thick flat sided hammer with knurled short spur and an unique coil hammer spring. Serial number is stamped on the left side of the frame, barrel, loading lever, locking pin and butt. Interestingly, both sides of the barrel, the back of recoil shield, trigger guard and both sides of the barrel lug are stamp with "B" inspector initials. The right side of the frame is also stamped "45 / 35 / 210" (this is possible referring to the bullet size, powder charge and bullet weight). Nickel with casehardened rammer. Fitted with smooth two piece grips.

Period customized for target shooting, replated. The revolver retains approximately 80% frosted nickel finish with the grip straps having a smooth dark brown patina and some minor flaking. The rammer has a smooth dark patina. The grips are fine with some minor dings and scratches. Hammer is not solid in safety notch, otherwise mechanics are fine.
