Custom Rifle Ranch Mauser Model 3000L Left-Handed Bolt Action Sporting Rifle, #94811, 7mm Rem. Mag. cal., 25" barrel, blue finish. Deluxe checkered walnut one-piece pistol grip stock with fleur-d-lis checkering detail, ebony tipped forend, sling swivel studs, checkered blue steel Fischer style grip cap, beaded cheekpiece, and Old English solid rubber recoil pad; providing a 13.4" LOP. No sights. Topped with one-piece Redfield base and rings. Matching numbered bolt. Marked "MADE IN GERMANY" on the right side of the receiver, "Original MAUSER" on the bolt shroud, and the barrel address reads, "No. 977 RIFLE RANCH-PRESCOTT,ARIZ.". Left side of the barrel noting the rifle was made to order for a prior owner. Rifle is in excellent overall condition, retaining approx. 97%-98% toning finish, with intermittent light scratches and minor handling marks. Stock is in near excellent condition, with attractive figure and mineral streaking, accentuated by the outstanding fleur-d-lis checkering. There is a small area on left side of the forend, where the checkering has been flattened, along with some minor scratches; both of which are consistent with field use. Action is smooth with a crisp trigger. Bore is bright with excellent rifling, showing little use. Jim Wilkinson's Rifle Ranch was well known for producing high quality custom hunting rifles, with build prices starting at over $5K.
