Manufactured in 1937, this rifle has a stippled ramp front sight with orange fiber optic sight and an elevation adjustable flip up rear sight in a dovetail. The barrel is drilled and tapped with two filler screws in front of the rear sight and is marked "375 MAGNUM". The proof mark on the barrel is faint and the receiver proof mark has a faint oval behind it. The receiver has a cloverleaf tang, there are scope blocks on top of the receiver bridges which have the cutouts for the .375 H&H magnum cartridge and is drilled and tapped with filler screws on the left rear for sight mounting. The bolt has the "early" style safety, has the serial number faintly electropenciled on the body and the knob is solid with checkered teardrop panels and a floral scroll pattern on the bottom. Mounted on a nicely figured, custom multi-point checkered, English walnut pistol grip stock with contrasting forend, sling swivels, two reinforcing bolts, steel grip cap and red rubber recoil pad.

Condition: Professionally custom built with 98% blue finish remaining with some flaking and light pitting at the muzzle. There are a number of minor scratches along the barrel and some scattered minor freckling. The beautiful custom stock is near mint with only minor marks overall. Mechanically excellent.
