Manufactured circa 1961, this revolver was engraved by Master engraver Mike Gouse and features floral scroll and punch dot background engraving on the barrel, cylinder flats, trigger guard and frame. The upper sides of the top strap feature a decorative line, dot and star burst design, there is a scallop design on the sides of the top strap and top of the back strap which has a geometric dot and diamond shape design. The butt is decorated with a scallop border and a simple line, dot and star burst design ahead of the serial number. The left side of the frame has a rabbit. Standard barrel markings in a scallop border panel and the four line address on the right side of the frame is in a scroll. Ramp blade front and adjustable rear sights, blue finish with casehardened hammer and trigger and fitted with checkered magna grips with S&W logo.

Condition: Professionally refinished and embellished with 98% blue finish remaining, showing thinning behind the trigger guard and some muzzle wear. The hammer retains most of the original bright case colors, faded to gray on the contact areas, and the trigger shows some faded original case colors with a smooth brownish gray. The grips are excellent with a few scattered minor dings and dents, and crisp checkering. The markings and engravings are clear and crisp. The action is excellent.
