Custom Factory engraved Signature Series third generation SAA revolver, black powder style frame, .45 cal., nickel finish, Colt medallion ivory grips with scrimshaw of famous Colt engraver names, representative of the styles of engravingaccomplished on this revolver. The gun is in like new condition with factory maroon cardboard box that is overall in good condition with some scuffing, wear and separation. These guns were also known as 150th Anniversary Engraving Samplers and included with this lot is a copy of a list made of from the Colt Custom Workshop indicating production of this example of .45 cal., 4-3/4” barrel, nickel finish was limited to a production of only 334 guns. A beautifully accomplished work of firearm art. Est.: $2,000-$4,000.
