Manufactured circa 1966 and subsequently custom engraved by John Warren. The revolver features nearly full coverage of nice floral scroll engraving with a punch dot background covering the sides of the barrel and shroud, frame sides and cylinder flats. The right side of the frame also has a gold relief intertwined "RC" and the top of the backstrap is signed "JOHN WARREN / ENGRAVER" in a panel with floral scroll engraving beneath it. Standard barrel markings, ramped front blade and adjustable rear sights, casehardened trigger and hammer, serrated front and back straps, and fitted with smooth Burl walnut grips with silver S&W medallions. Complete with an extra pair of smooth, three finger walnut grips with silver S&W medallions.

Condition: Factory refinished with virtually all of the blue and casehardened finishes remaining. The grips are excellent with a few minor dents and handling marks. The extra grips are also excellent with some minor finish loss and light handling marks. This is one of two John Warren engraved and signed guns in the auction.
