A) Manufactured in 1853. Two line Hartford barrel address inside brackets, "COLTS / PATENT" on left side of frame, and stagecoach holdup cylinder scene. Matching numbers on barrel, frame, trigger guard, back strap, loading lever, cylinder, and wedge. Fitted with a varnished one piece grip. Complete with a partitioned wooden case with green felt lining, key, Handy & Harman percussion cap tin, and lead rounds.

Finish: blue/casehardened/silver

Condition: Good. The revolver has a mottled brown patina with a smooth dark patina and there is some minor pitting. Traces of the cylinder scene remain. The grip straps retain 30% original silver plating with the exposed brass having an untouched aged patina. The repaired grip is very good with some minor handling marks. The custom case is very good with numerous minor handling marks and some minor wear to the repantioned lining.

B) Manufactured in 1853. Two line Hartford barrel address inside brackets, "COLTS / PATENT" on left side of frame, and stagecoach holdup cylinder scene. Matching numbers on barrel, frame, trigger guard, back strap, cylinder, loading lever, and wedge. The number "2" is stamped next to the serial number on the cylinder and barrel. Fitted with a varnished one piece grip. In case with "A".

Condition: Good. The revolver has a mottled brown-gray patina with a smooth brown patina on the loading lever and there is some minor pitting (mostly on the cylinder). Traces of the cylinder scene remain. The grip strap retain areas of original silver plating on the back strap, butt, and trigger guard with the exposed brass having an untouched aged patina. The grip is fine with most of the varnish remaining and some minor handling marks. Mechanically fair.
