Manufactured in 1879. Features long cylinder flutes with locking slots on the backs. Two line Hartford address on top of the barrel, etched "COLT NEW 32" on the left barrel side, and patent date on barrel underside. "32 CAL" upside-down on left side of frame followed by "C". Matching numbers on bottom of the barrel and frame under the grip. Complete in a wooden case with green velvet lining, a small brass Helena, Montana City Marshall badge and a single W.R.A. 32 LC cartridge.

Condition: Very fine. The revolver retains 80% original nickel finish. The top and upper left side of the barrel, and front of the top strap have been cleaned where some minor pitting is present. There is some minor pitting along the lower front edge of the frame on the left side, on the upper left side edge and there is a small area on the right side of the frame behind the loading port that has a small patch of minor pitting that has been cleaned. The grips are excellent with 98% original varnish, some high edge wear and a few minor dents and scratches. The etched panel is visible. The action is excellent. The custom case is good with some scratches and scuffs on the exterior and some contact wear on the lining.
