Collection of 11 extremely rare photo postcards of the Little Big Horn battleground and related sites, published by Herbert A Coffeen of Sheridan, Wyoming. Images include intermingled remains on the battlefield, a pile of horse bones, monuments, and several from photos taken one year after the battle, including markers of J. J. Crittenden, Colonel Keogh, and the sole survivor ‘Curley,’ as well as a monument erected after the battle. In fine overall condition. This series of cards has long been regarded as the prime photographic record of that memorable battle.
