Empty bottle of 2003 Mount Pleasant Brut Imperial wine, acquired from the Busch Stadium visitor’s locker room after the Boston Red Sox 2004 World Series Championship. Signed in silver paint pen, “Curt Schilling. ‘The Greatest Red Sox Team Ever Assembled’”—a reference to the team’s toast after the Carmines overcame the Curse of the Bambino. In very fine condition, with an MLB numbered hologram affixed to the bottle—one of only 69 bottles to be saved and inventoried by MLB. A celebratory remnant from the end of an 86-year World Series drought in Boston.
