Leonard and secretary Geo. Moon. Not cancelled. Black border and print, no vignette. Deep folds. 6.25 x 9.5" Not listed in C&L. This company operated in the Carnero District, Saguache County, Colorado. The Crystal Hill Mining Camp (and District) took off in 1883. In June 1883, it was 36 square miles of mineral land. Noted mines were the Esperanza and the Buckhorn. The Saguache Democrat (Nov. 4, 1886) mentions the Crystal Hill Mining Company is doing their annual assessment work.
