<B>Crypt of Terror #17 (EC, 1950) CGC FN 6.0 White pages.</B></I> This is the first New Trend EC comic to hit newsstands, and it's sixth on Overstreet's list of the most valuable horror books. It's got one of the earliest appearances of the Crypt-Keeper. The title would run for three issues before a name change to the most famous EC title of all, <B>Tales From the Crypt</B></I>. This issue has a Johnny Craig cover, with interior art by Craig, Al Feldstein, and George Roussos. CGC notes, "Small piece of tape on 10th page & 3 small pieces on 12th page. Piece re-attached with 2 pieces of tape." Overstreet 2006 FN 6.0 value = $831.
