Incorporated in New Jersey in March of 1881. No. 52 issued to M. S. Buckley by Jos. L. Fryer, Secretary, and [illegible], President, for 1,000 shares on 26 April. A larger-sized stock on onion paper, it has a few wrinkles. Signed on reverse by Buckley and two witnesses but not dated. U/C. Good condition. Fred Holabird wrote that the mine had “a 40’ shaft on Crystal Mountain with a 6’ vein with malachite and galina. . . . The mine was inactive by 1885” [Ref: Holabird, Western Americana, Auction # 9, Volume 2: Colorado, p. 73, 2001].
