This is from the Crow Native American Indians and shows a double side beaded flat bag. The front shows a cross design. The bag shows an Indian tanned hide with 19th century glass trade seed beads. This was purchased from the King Saddlery Museum in Sheridan, Wyoming where the Ernst Family had the collection displayed.. The pieces were original collected and sold by Otto F. Ernst in the 19th century. Otto Ernst was a renowned Saddle Maker and would purchase Native American items to sell in his Saddle shop and Catalog. Otto Ernst Saddlery Sheridan, Wyoming.
