This is an original Crow Native American Indian beaded dress on Indian tanned hide. The dress shows wonderful 19th century glass trade seed bead work on both sides across the shoulders and arms. This was purchased from the King Saddlery Museum in Sheridan, Wyoming where the Ernst Family had the collection displayed.. The pieces were original collected and sold by Otto F. Ernst in the 19th century. Otto Ernst was a renowned Saddle Maker and would purchase Native American items to sell in his Saddle shop and Catalog. Otto Ernst Saddlery Sheridan, Wyoming.
