This is a double sided beadwork flat bag from the Crow Native American Indians. The bag shows wonderful 1800's glass trade seed beadwork across both sides of the bag and also has a fancy beaded edge border. (Hudson Bay white hearts, greasy yellow, Cheyenne pink). The piece was purchased and sold by Otto F. Ernst. Otto Ernst was a renowned Saddle Maker and would purchase Native American items to sell in his Saddle shop and Catalog. Otto Ernst Saddlery Sheridan, Wyoming. From the King Saddlery Museum Collection. The bag shows and early antique age with good condition with little to no bead loss. Bag is 4.25"x5.25"
