The lot features a rare set of fully front beaded Crow Native American Indian gauntlet gloves. These are an excellent set of gauntlet gloves with a floral design. The set has no bead loss in rare condition. This was purchased from the King Saddlery Museum in Sheridan, Wyoming where the Ernst Family had the collection displayed.. The pieces were original collected and sold by Otto F. Ernst in the 19th century. Otto Ernst was a renowned Saddle Maker and would purchase Native American items to sell in his Saddle shop and Catalog. Otto Ernst Saddlery Sheridan, Wyoming. The gloves are from circa 1880. Excellent condition. Each measures 15.5"l x 7.25"w with additional 7.5" long fringe. Sinew and Trade Cotton sewn. Has original museum tags.
