The lot features a Crow Native American Indian beaded flat bag from the Otto Ernst Collection. The pouch is from circa 1890-1910 and shows a wonderful design with 19th century glass trade seed beads sinew sewn on a scarcely seen saddle leather or chap leather base. This was purchased from the King Saddlery Museum in Sheridan, Wyoming where the Ernst Family had the collection displayed.. The pieces were original collected and sold by Otto F. Ernst in the 19th century. Otto Ernst was a renowned Saddle Maker and would purchase Native American items to sell in his Saddle shop and Catalog. Otto Ernst Saddlery Sheridan, Wyoming.
