This is a Crow Native American beaded cuff or bracelet from the Otto Ernst Collection. The piece is beaded across the top with a floral leaf design and the edge having a fancy beaded border. The set is from circa early 1900 with sinew sewn 19th century iridescent glass trade seed beads. This was purchased from the King Saddlery Museum in Sheridan, Wyoming where the Ernst Family had the collection displayed. The pieces were original collected and sold by Otto F. Ernst in the 19th century. Otto Ernst was a renowned Saddle Maker and would purchase Native American items to sell in his Saddle shop and Catalog. Otto Ernst Saddlery Sheridan, Wyoming. Each measures 8.75” L x 2.25”W. Original Museum tags. Little to no bead loss.
