Pictorial letterhead of six barrels stacked in a pyramid entitled "Fine Whiskies Brandies and Champagnes." The first one: J.B. Sefton Anderson Co., Sour Mash Bourbon; the second: Golden Grain Anderson Co., Sour Mash Bourbon; the third: J. H. Harris Whiskey, Old Stock Bourbon; the fourth: Old Bourbon California Whiskey; the fifth: Game Cock Bourbon; and the sixth: Carlisee Sour Mash, Standard Bourbon. Oak barrels were typically used to give off stronger flavors to the maturing whiskey while also adding to the taste, aroma, and color. Often in saloons, they would keep whiskey barrels in the basement. They filled bottles up from these barrels. Letterhead measures 8" x 4 1/2".
