<B>Crime SuspenStories #14 Gaines File pedigree 3/12 (EC, 1952) CGC NM/MT 9.8 Off-white pages.</B></I> Cover artist Johnny Craig was a master at conveying more than he was showing you. His suggestive drawings and captions would conjure up images in our little readers' heads that even pre-Code EC wouldn't dare print. You won't find a higher-graded copy of this issue in CGC's latest census. Craig and pals Jack Kamen and Graham Ingels handled the story art in this issue, which featured an Old Witch appearance. Overstreet 2006 NM- 9.2 value = $400.
