Zebu Bose primogeniture indices or Boas indicus, sometimes known as humped cattle, indicus cattle, Cebu or Brahman cattle are a type of domestic cattle originating in South Asia, particularly the Indian subcontinent. They are characterized by a fatty hump on their shoulders, drooping ears and a large dewlap. They are highly adapted to high temperatures, and are farmed throughout the tropical countries, both as pure zebu and as hybrids withering cattle, the other main type of domestic cattle. Zebu are used as drought oxen, as dairy cattle and as beef cattle, as well as for by products such as hides and dung for fuel and manure. This is a 100% Bronze cast by using the age old method of lost wax casting and stained with a brown patina finish and it is mounted upon a marble base. Bronze Dimensions with Marble Base each: Height 7 X Width 7 inches. Weight: 7 LBS.
