Steber Watchmaker Portage City, the letters are single punched; an 1876 counterstamped C.E. Holden C. Ville VT; and a scarce 1875 counterstamped Parisian Varieties 16 St. & B'way, N.Y., Rulau NY-NY-230, a well-known counterstamp. Parisian Varieties was an erotic show of nubile young women that opened Sept. 15, 1875, and ran until 1876. This fantastic lot is sure to draw the attention of serious collectors of counterstamp varieties.
