Machete from a cosmonaut survival kit. Machete measures 14? long from blade edge to end of handle strap, with the steel blade measuring 3.5? at its widest, with 3842575 stamped along the flat edge. Hard rubber handle is fitted with a wrist strap at the end. Special Velcro cover is imprinted 'machete knife' in Cyrillic. This machete was designed to fit into the stock of a three-barrelled TP-82 gun which accompanied the cosmonauts into space. In very fine condition.
