Included in this correspondence is a love letter written from William Patten to Mrs. Bigelow from London. This collection comes from William Patten of New York Estate, famed editor and illustrator, son of William Swift and Mary Hardman Patten.Ê Married to Grace Bigelow, whose grandfather was the John Bigelow of literary and political fame.Ê The memorabilia and items from this estate read like a ÒWhoÕs WhoÓ of New York elite families from the late 19th and early 20th century!
