A Corinthian aryballos depicting and incised Harpy, c. 6th Century BC, the body ovoid with wide flat rim and small handle. Traces of the decoration remain around the incised accents detailing the large wings and facial profile of this mythological half-woman half-bird creature who lured sailors to their deaths on the rocks.
