This version, released in 1983 was the last style of Batmobile to leave the Corgi factory. By this time the company was on the verge of immediate closure and were forced to do whatever they could to save money for wages, creditors etc. Consequently whatever components they had left were used up, explaining why this version had Batcopter decals and an unpainted blue dash, basically they did not want to print more Bat logos for the doors or use chrome paint on the dashboards.

This particular model has been restored.

Only reproduction items are the window unit, aerial beacon cage re-coloured dashboard.

The original wide wheels are excellent.

Batman is the original figure, in excellent condition (Robin was not released with this version).

The rocket launcher and slasher blade work fine.

The window box was changed to this style in 1981, originally used for the more conventional wide wheeled 267.

The set comes in an excellent reproduction box with removable header card, as did the original box. The header cards are extremely rare as they were delivered to the shopkeepers loose for them to fit. On many occasions they didn’t have the time or the inclination to do this so they were not actually sold with the original models.
