Original Martin Luther King, Jr. Center program for King Week '91, a "Celebration of the Sixty-Second Birthday Anniversary of The Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King, Jr. and the Sixth Federal Holiday," held between January 11–21, 1991, eighty-four pages, 8.5 x 11, signed and inscribed on the front cover in blue ink, "For Dr. Nicolas with deep appreciation for your commitment and support of the dream…and with my sincerest best personal regards, Coretta Scott King." In very good to fine condition, with overall rippling and light dampstaining from onetime exposure to moisture. Accompanied by an unsigned issue of Ebony Magazine from January 1987, which shows the King family on the front cover; a pair of March Co. earrings featuring enamel designs of the MLK 'Black Heritage' commemorative stamp; and a "State of New Mexico" document "Congratulating the Northern New Mexico Martin Luther King, Jr. State Holiday Commission," signed along the bottom by Senators Carlos R. Cisneros, Casey Luna, Shannon Robinson, and Margaret Larragoite. Dr. St. Arnaud Nicolas served as the president of The Intellectual and Cultural Association of New Mexico, as well as a chairperson at the Northern New Mexico MLK, Jr., State Holiday Commission.
