Coretta Scott King concert recital poster from a 6 October 1958 concert at the Holt Street Baptist Church and second program from a 30 September 1956 performance at the Dexter Avenue Baptist Church, which was MLK's church the focal point of the civil rights movement. Poster is headlined, ''Appearing in Concert / Coretta Scott King / National Famous Soprano'' with ''Sponsored by the Montgomery Improvement Association'' to bottom. Program is headlined, ''The Usher Boards and the Young Matrons Council of Dexter Avenue Baptist Church present Coretta Scott king / Soprano / In Recital''. 5pp. program, front and verso, measures 6'' x 9'' with cover detached and held together with paperclip. Some tape residue to top. Poster measures 11'' x 14'' with minor toning throughout. Overall, very good.
