American statesman (1871–1955) who served as secretary of state under Franklin Roosevelt for 11 years and who received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1945 for his role in establishing the United Nations. Vintage matte-finish 9.25 x 13.25 photo of Hull by Harris & Ewing, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "To Hon. Louis C. Rabaut, with high esteem—Cordell Hull.” In fine condition. Louis Charles Rabaut (1886–1961) was a congressman from Michigan who is best known for introducing legislation that added the words 'under God' to the Pledge of Allegiance.
