(22.25" x 16.5"), containing 2 large folding maps and 61 handsome plates. All Maps and Plates appear to be Present. All eight text volumes are likewise paginated complete. The account of the first voyage is a Second Edition (se Notyes above), while the accounts of second and third voyages are both First Editions. This is a very handsome set. Not just a Cornerstone but the veritable Foundation of any library or collection concerning exploration, and an important document in the development of mankind and civilization in general.
