Continental made Adams patent revolver showing crown over F.F. proof engraved on the right side of the frame Adams patent number 10538 cased in deluxe French style with accessories. The revolver measures 13” overall with 6 ¼” barrel ofapproximately 45 caliber. The pistol shows traces of original blue and some light cleaning to gray metal with some scattered minor pitting and erosion. The edge and markings are fairly sharp and the rear of the frame is stamped “Tranterspatent” and is also engraved as previously mentioned. The grips are very good and nicely checkered. The double action is working well and shows the Tranter patent double trigger. The pistol is contained within a wine coloredvelveteen lined French style case. The case contains an original mold in the right caliber for this revolver, a ladle for casting lead balls, a loading rod and a correct style flask but is undersized for this case and not the original,oiler, wood cap or accessory box or compartment cover. One accessory is missing which is the screwdriver. The exterior the case is blackened hardwood to simulate ebony with a nice finish and inlaid with brass. The exterior of the case is
