Continental flintlock blunderbuss pistol with under mounted spring bayonet circa early 19th century. The pistol measures 12” overall with 6” barrel of approximately .75 caliber smoothbore. The barrels nicely made with a flared and cannontype rings. The action is nicely engraved with stand of arms decorative scrolls. The pistol is in its original flintlock configuration with correct hammer and small parts. The spring and bayonet snaps out quickly with authority. The metalsurfaces are good and show some minor pitting and light cleaning. The stocks have been lightly refreshed and show some minor restoration. Est.: $1400- $2800
