<B>Continental Loan Office $30 Second Bill of Exchange 1779 Anderson 97 About New.</B></I> These were used to transfer funds to Paris by the fledgling American government. Anderson states that there are no known first bill of exchanges, second bills are rare, and third and fourth bills are common. This and the following lot are second bill of exchanges. This Pennsylvania example has a center fold flanked by two pre-printing paper crinkles.
