<B>Continental Currency September 26, 1778 $30 Choice About New.</B></I> A bright, perfect example of this scarce detector. These were printed from genuine plates and distributed so that they could be compared with suspected notes to detect counterfeits. The blue paper was used to prevent the notes from being falsely filled in and spent.
