Continental Congress. May 10, 1775. Thirty Dollars. First Philadelphia Issue. Choice Crisp Uncirculated.
Fr. CC-10. Thirty Dollars is the Highest Denomination on this First Philadelphia Congress Revolutionary War currency issue. This note is very clean, well printed, crisp and has a quite well centered appearance. There are four large even margins on its reverse where it was apparently cut from its sheet and is slightly trimmed close at lower left on its face side just touching the border design. Signed in deep bold brown by James Read and in faint red by Jas. Milligan. Sharp margin edges and corner tips creates desirable eye appeal.
