Continental Arms Corporation big game sporting rifle on Mauser large-ring model 98 commercial action, 8x68 caliber, Belgian proofs on barrel and action, 3-leaf folding rear sight on short rib, with changeable aperture front sight, with hinged cover, flat matte finish, finely engraved action in scroll motif signed “Lewanczyk”. The rifle is stocked in select walnut, crisply checkered with a satin type European type wood dowel in stock, showing milled steel pistol grip cap. Hard-rubber recoil pad. Stock measures 13-18” to the end of the wood, 14-1/2” to the end of the pad. The condition is fine to excellent showing just slight handling and minor use. Continental Arms Corporation of New York handled the best of American and European arms and catered to advanced hunters and collectors from the 1950’s to 70’s. Serial #2917. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
