Contemporary Indian imitation of a Roman Aureus, 7.2g, probably based on designs of Septemus Severus or Lucius Verus (c. 3rd century AD), obv. bears a profile head to left, rev. goddess standing, probably from the Indian pantheon. Both sides have pseudo-Roman legends but the obvers has an unread Brahmi inscription. About Fine, Rare with hole plugged for weight adjustment, two holes to wear as a pendant.
