Founder and president of the Hilton Hotels Corporation (1887–1979). Vintage matte-finish 10.25 x 13.25 portrait of Hilton, presented in its original 12 x 17 Pach Bros. mat, signed and inscribed on the mat in ink, “To Ed Crowley, My newest hotel manager, with best wishes for his success, C. N. Hilton, March 22, 1947.” Matted again to an overall size of 17 x 22. In very good condition, with signature and inscription very faded but mostly legible, and partially detached from larger mat.
