Connecticut Treasury Office Transfer Certificate Mar. 27, 1790 Anderson CT-27A certificate that details the transfer of old notes for new notes. After the Revolutionary War there was a vast profusion of Connecticut notes in circulation, and in an attempt to straighten out their tangled finances, the Treasurer's office issued this note for the purpose of redeeming all of the other valueless pieces of paper with one simpler, and equally valueless, piece of paper. Extremely Fine, and originally signed by Jedediah Huntington, with his signature crossed out and that of Peter Colt added as Treasurer.
