Congressional document printed by government printer, approx. 12” by 7”, 25th congress, 3rd session, marked “H. R. 32” December 31, 1838. Mr. Cushing issued the following resolution in regard to dueling. The resolution basically forbids Civil, Military, Legislative, Judicial, and other government employees from fighting or challenging to duel. The death of Cilley was a big inspiration to this resolution. See lot 1284 and 1285 regarding the Death of Cilley. The condition is very good with slight staining in an antique frame. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
