Perfect condition, with the exception of one light body scratch, on the reverse. could be buffed off, very easily. Also, hammer whittled body with nice glass texture. Very Nice, high quality item. Saratoga Springs was discovered in 1792, 25 years after the High Rock discovery. The hunters who discovered the spring that year were led by John Taylor Gilman, a Congressman at the time, hence the name ( Congress Water ). John Clarke purchased the farm, where the spring was located in 1826. He was the first in the region, to bottle and market the mineral waters. (RH).
