<B>Confederate Officer James B. Terrill Document Signed</B></I> "<I>J. B. Terrill</B></I>". One page, 7.75" x 5", tipped-on to an album page, August 29, 1862, signed in pencil, with the usual endorsements on the verso, with fold creases, a small area of tape on the verso has bled somewhat to the front of the document, generally toned, right margin slightly chipped, else very good. Terrill has signed this provision return as regimental commander of the 13th Virginia. Terrill was promoted to Brigadier General one day after he died in a battle near Bethesda Church, Virginia.
