Three items signed by Confederate Generals: a DS signed “Isaac. R. Trimble,” three pages, February 14, 1879, assigning property he placed in trust in 1861 to his wife, Ann C. Trimble and Georgiana Preptman, signed at the conclusion by Trimble; an ADS signed “Bradley T. Johnson,” four pages, December 13, 1887, describing the “Indian Mountain Magnesium Mining Property” in New Brunswick, Canada, which includes diagrams of the mine, signed at the conclusion by Johnson; and ink signatures, “Wm R. Cox, Raleigh N.C.,” “Jo. C. S. Blackburn, Kentucky,” and “D. Wyatt Aiken, Cokesbury, So. Ca.,” on an off-white 7 x 9 album page. In overall fine condition.

Isaac R. Trimble (1802–1888) was the highest- ranking CSA general from Maryland. He led a division during Pickett’s Charge at Gettysburg, where he was wounded and captured. Bradley Tyler Johnson (1829–1903) was a Confederate Cavalry Brigadier General (1st Maryland Regt.) under Stonewall Jackson. William Ruffin Cox (1832–1919) was a CSA Brigadier General of North Carolina and later a congressman; Joseph Blackburn (1838–1918) was a CSA Lt. Col., US Senator, and Governor of the Canal Zone; and D. Wyatt Aiken (1828–1887) was a CSA Colonel of the 7th South Carolina Infantry and later a congressman.
