<B>Confederate General William Terry Signature</B></I> "<I>Wm Terry Va</B></I>". 4.5" x 2", mounted to a larger backing sheet, toned, else a near fine signature. Terry served under Stonewall Jackson and participated in numerous battles during the Civil War including the first and second battles at Bull Run, Chancellorsville, Gaine's Mill, Malvern Hill, Fredericksburg, the Wilderness Campaign, Cold Harbor and the defense of Petersburg. He was the last commander of the Stonewall Brigade.
