This is the most complete collection of Comstock region tokens ever assembled. The 87 different tokens were assembled from the famous Hal Dunn Collection, the Holabird Collection, and others. It is missing only a single piece- the Star Saloon of Silver City, of which only one specimen is known today. Every effort was made to acquire the finest known specimens, and indeed, some uncirculated specimens are from the Moise family (die sinker) collection. The majority of the collection dates from about 1880-1920. This collection is the basis of the book written by Holabird, “Coins of the Comstock”. The designation * indicates a token that dates before 1900. Very few of these were included in Rulau (Pre-1900 Tokens of the United States). This is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
