Below two manuscript hymns, "<I>After Sermon</B></I>" and "<I>Introductory Hymn</B></I>", is penned a note by hymnologist D.C. Colesworthy as follows: "<I>given to me by the author, 1856, D.C.C.</B></I>". Traces of tape at left edge, else fine condition. The pious Pierpont (1785-1866) was the grandfather of financier J.P.
