Composer Chauncey Olcott Autograph Letter Signed “Chauncey Olcott”. One page, 6” x 12”, Auditorium Hotel letterhead, Chicago, undated, in ink. Chauncey Olcott (1858-1932) wrote and composed the song “My Wild Irish Rose” and wrote the lyrics for “When Irish Eyes are Smiling”. In this letter Olcott writes of the feasibility of purchasing a building. The letter has remnants from mounting which are especially noticeable at the corners, with some staining and loss to the upper left corner, weak in the fold creases, else a very good bold signature.

Shipping: Flat Material, Small (view shipping information)
