Presented here is *In the Pocket*, a 1981 studio album by the legendary soul-funk band Commodores, released under Motown Records. This LP features the hit single “Lady (You Bring Me Up)” and showcases the group’s signature blend of smooth vocals, catchy hooks, and sophisticated arrangements. It was one of the final albums to feature Lionel Richie before his solo breakout. The cover art cleverly displays a photo of the band tucked into a giant denim pocket, with vivid late-70s styling. The jacket is in VG+ condition with minor corner rub; vinyl presumed VG/VG+ based on packaging. A must-have for fans of funk, Motown, and early 80s soul-pop crossovers.
